Our Passion for Airedales

Who We Are
Our lives have been shaped by Airedales for decades. Steph began working in Airedale Rescue in 2003 and spent many years as the Ontario coordinator for AireCanada Airedale Rescue. Marnix welcomed his first Airedale in 1976 and has shared life with them ever since. Over the years, countless Airedales have filled our home and hearts, each one deepening our love for this remarkable breed.
We admire Airedales because they truly can do it all—family companions, working partners, athletes in sport, champions in the ring, even search and rescue heroes. Their versatility and spirit inspire us every day, and we can’t imagine life without one (or two… or five!) by our side.
Our commitment is to leave the breed better than we found it. We health test all our dogs, including screening for PLN and other genetic conditions, and carefully plan our breedings to strengthen health, temperament, and structure for future generations.
Not all pets are show dogs but all show dogs are pets.

What You’ll Get with a Puppy from Us
Choosing one of our puppies means more than just a sweet new family member — you’ll receive everything you need to start off on the right paw:
CKC registration papers — Your puppy will be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, and you’ll receive the official paperwork to certify their purebred status and pedigree.
Clear lineage & champion bloodlines — Both parents are CKC-registered, champion-lineage Airedales. You’ll know the history, temperament, and quality you’re getting.
Health guarantee & veterinary checkup — Prior to going home, your puppy will be vet-checked, vaccinated, dewormed, and declared healthy. You’ll receive full health information and a guarantee against congenital/hereditary issues for a specified period.
DNA tested parents — We use modern genetic testing to screen for known hereditary conditions, ensuring a healthier foundation for every litter.
Basic socialization & early handling — We begin socializing the pups early, with exposure to people, sounds, and handling so they’re confident and ready to learn.
Support for training & care — Information and guidance for vaccinations, feeding, puppy training, and care. We want you to feel confident raising your pup.
Lifetime breeder support & commitment — We care for these pups always. If circumstances change and you can’t keep your puppy, we ask that you contact us first so we can help ensure a responsible rehome.
Grooming & show support — We provide guidance for ear gluing, coat care, and grooming. For those interested, we’re happy to teach hand-stripping techniques, help with coat maintenance, and offer mentorship in handling and preparing for the show ring.
